Dune Residence is a modern coastal concept that reimagines coastal living through a refined, contemporary lens. Conceived as a design-led exploration, the home considers how raw, natural materials can be elevated through precise detailing and sculptural form, creating spaces defined by lightness, warmth, and quiet confidence. A calm palette layered with natural tactility establishes an overall sense of ease, where simplicity feels intentional and composed.

Clean architectural lines are balanced by subtle curves and sculptural gestures, introducing playful moments that spark curiosity while maintaining clarity and restraint. Brickwork extends from the exterior into the interiors, grounding the open-plan layout and reinforcing a sense of material continuity. Wide timber floorboards, rendered walls, Botticino stone floors, and a timber-lined ceiling create depth and warmth, complemented by pale oak joinery and artisan stone detailing in Vernice quartzite. Dark bronze tapware and accessories add contrast, lending the interiors a quietly elevated character.

Natural light shapes the experience of the home throughout the day. A sculptural stair sits alongside a generous void above the dining space, illuminated by steel-framed windows and a circular skylight that draws light deep into the plan and animates the interiors. Living and dining areas spill seamlessly onto an outdoor alfresco, strengthening the connection between inside and out. A generous master suite with walk-in robe and expansive ensuite completes the vision, with Dune Residence offering a contemporary interpretation of coastal living defined by material honesty, sculptural form, and an ever-changing interplay of light.
